Perspectives

This website is dedicated to production and business and is focused on professional content. Business, however,
does not operate in a vacuum and intelligent content and debate are prerequisite to informed management.
It is critical that Competitive America provide a forum for issues that affect our social systems and ultimately
the systems of production and commerce.
This is the age of blogs, biased media and corrupted journalism. Nearly everyone has an opinion they freely share
with all those willing to listen. The problem is that many opinions are based on those of others, not on facts.
This is not a new phenomenon. During the civil rights movement persons tried to speak for the oppressed, but they
had not been there. During Vietnam, people shared opinions about our military while insulated from reality. Being
there provides a greater depth of understanding and unique perspectives.
This page is dedicated to perspectives presented by persons immersed in the issues. These include doctors who must
function within faulty healthcare systems, military on the firing line and those still struggling with the inequities
inherent within any system. All must contain conclusions and solutions. We may not agree with all of the conclusions,
but divergence and civil exchange are core components of intelligent interchange.
